WhatsApp’s new feature will disappear by itself after sending photo-video

Instant messaging app WhatsApp is working on a new feature which is being described as Expiring Media. Under this feature, if you have sent photos, videos and gif to someone, then they will disappear on their own after seeing the receiver.

It is worth noting that WhatsApp has been working on a feature called Expiring Message for some time. This feature will be timer based and the messages will disappear with time. At first glance, the Expiring Media feature also seems to be part of the Expiring Message.

WABetainfo, a website keeping track of the features of WhatsApp, has shared some screenshots in which a special button can be seen for Expiring Media.

From this screenshot, it can also be guessed that a dedicated icon will have to be used while sending media content for Expiring Media.

Under this, as soon as you send the media content to someone. You can select Expiring Media while sending videos, photos or jiff files. After this, the person whom you have sent will disappear.

Let us know that Instagram already has such a feature, even before Insta, there are many apps in which this feature has been given. In the direct message of Instagram, you can send photos and videos of anyone who appears to be Disappear.

WAbetinfo has said that this feature is currently being tested for Android. It can be expected that the company will release this feature to the public along with the Expiring Message.
